In some way, disparities in health care will eventually impact all of us. It is IAMMM’s belief that showcasing survivors will personalize consumer education to encourage taking more responsibility for one’s health care, and to seek early detection and treatment.

In 2006, IAMMM established the Soar High Leaders Award. This award gives have helped pave a way to a better understanding of chronic diseases and have helped us achieve new heights of health care through research, advocacy and education, ensuring improved health care across the nation and throughout the world.

Funds raised through this annual event support health education, outreach, health screenings and referrals for minorities and the underserved. To explore sponsorship opportunities, please call Madeline Y. Lawson on (202) 667-6155.
