For twenty-two years, the International Salute Committee has been hosting a Breakfast Celebration to commemorate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is a committee of volunteers, comprised primarily of members of the Diplomatic Corps, Howard University, George Washington University, University of the District of Columbia, and the Memorial Project Foundation. T
The Committee conducts a program that focuses on Dr. King’s great legacy and honors individuals who have distinguished themselves through their service to others, to improving lives and communities globally.
